Washington -U.S. Congressman Jerry Costello (D-IL) announced today that Family Advocacy Services, located in Carbondale, has been awarded a $600,000 grant from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The funds will be used for community-based abstinence education.
“These are important resources for our communities,” said Costello. “Access to health information is a critical part of good health. I will continue to work to make this funding a priority of the federal budget.”
