JONESBORO STUDENT MEETS WITH CONGRESSMAN COSTELLO IN WASHINGTON, D.C.

WASHINGTON - Jessi Stone, a high school student from Jonesboro, met with U.S. Congressman Jerry Costello (D-IL) in his Washington, D.C. office today. Jessi was in Washington as part of the National Young Leaders Conference, a program sponsored by the Congressional Youth Leadership Council that provides promising students a hands-on experience in building leadership skills.

Jessi is a sophomore at Anna-Jonesboro Community High School and is active in basketball, track and golf. She hopes to attend college at the University of Illinois where she plans to study zoology and veterinary science.
