SMITHTON STUDENT MEETS WITH CONGRESSMAN COSTELLO IN WASHINGTON, D.C.

WASHINGTON - Stephanie Wormald, a high school student from Smithton, met with U.S. Congressman Jerry Costello (D-IL) in his Washington, D.C. office yesterday. Stephanie was in Washington as part of the National Young Leaders Conference, a program sponsored by the Congressional Youth Leadership Council that provides promising students a hands-on experience in building leadership skills.

Stephanie is a sophomore at Freeburg High School, dances competitively and hopes to pursue a career in medicine.
