Washington - U.S. Congressman Jerry Costello (D-IL) announced today that two area fire departments have received Commercial Equipment Direct Assistance Program (CEDAP) grants through the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. The funds will allow for the purchase of safety and security equipment.
“By providing our first responders with the proper equipment to do their job, we enhance public safety,” said Costello. “I will continue to see that this funding remains a priority of the federal budget.”
